Due to some malicious activity related to the latest WordPress hacking, I have to temporarily redirect the following affected sites to my personal blog:
kikolani.com
dofollow.info
artisticgemini.com
fragilepoetry.com
I’m currently hard at work taking care of this pesky incident, and will have everything back up and running shortly (hopefully in time for Fetching Friday – possibly a very late edition). I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.
In the meantime, please enjoy some guest blog posts I have done recently on SEO, social media, and blogging.
For any specific comments, questions, hacking cleanup advice, security tips, etc., you can contact me directly via email at webmaster at kikolani dot com, Twitter, or Facebook.
Thanks for your understanding and support, especially to those who have been helping me out today with advice!
Update As 4 PM, I have Kikolani and Dofollow cleaned, upgraded, secured, and running smoothly (with exception to a few plugins). If anyone has runs into any issues, please contact me!
Ugh…that’s really bad O_o
Care to share what happens after all these things settle down? All the best and I hope you are not too stress!
Alright, don’t worry, we understand the problem. However, I’ve not heard yet about the latest WordPress hacking incident. Would you please tell me details about it? How come your blogs are affected?
I’m surprised the latest WP is still hackable. That serves as a reminder of the importance of backing up, lest anything goes wrong.
I’m sorry for what happened, Kristi. Good luck, gal.
Yan
OOoooof.
I’m sure you’ll do a complete debrief on what happened so we can all learn from your very unfortunate experience.
Good luck! I hope you’re able to recover quickly.
Damn, do I hate hackers, nothing better to do.
GRRR! How incredibly frustrating. Yes, please let us know what happened when you are ready. Also if there’s anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to give me a holler.
In Healing circles this is called the “wounded healer” – Healers experience sickness and disease because you must first know what the people that come to you for healing will be experiencing. So as difficult as this is, as you work it out for yourself, you are being trained to be a ‘healer’ for others. This is not my theory – this is a story that my Native American Teacher told me when I found myself in a similar situation. You do for others with regards to the web, and other related areas what healers do for others with regards to wellness. I hope this isn’t too vague and out of place for your blog. I have every confidence that you will pass this initiation. If this is too weird and out of place, just delete the comment.
I love your new theme, congratulations!
I knew that you have changed it from my WordPress stats, the recent guest posts feed is working lol ..cool!
Waiting you, and tell me if there is anything I can help with
Ahh, WP was hacked? I thought your blog was. I noticed something weird happening last night when clicking onto one of your blog posts from my feed reader. I recognized it for what it was, and force quit Firefox, re-opened it, and saw your post fine.
I do not like the hacking. Better I like to do the genuine work. Best wishes to you……….
Kristi, I’d like to know when Fragile Poetry is back up. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve been writing haiku since the early 1990s and have had some published in a few of the haiku publications (mostly in the mid-1990s).
Ouch, hope it turns out alright for you Kristi!
